Big gaming

My daughter attended last year and so glad we left for another school. There are parents we talked to that still has their child going to this school and nothing has changed. New principal same result so far. Bullying is still rampant. Student body disrespectful to teachers. Per source numerous fights weekly with latest bigger kid beating up a little kid. Teacher tied to stop it, then big kid punches the teacher. Wow just wow. You can't fix bad students with parents who don't care. Sadly this school needs to consider shutting down again.

The teachers and staff at BVIS are great and trying really hard to improve the school but the student body, according to my son who is a student there, is holding them back. The disrespect shown to the teachers during class is overwhelming his learning experience. And due to the difficulties of remote learning, they've spent most of the year rehashing last year's material. This school has tons of potential, I hope they're able to realize it soon.

I heard some iffy things about this school before visiting, but after we went in person and met with some of the teachers we were sold. It feels like an extension of the strong community in our area and a place where my kids can grow as people and learners. My son felt welcomed right away as did we.

There are a couple things about this school that bothered me. The facility is pretty sub par and the lady who I reported to would not give me a recommendation when I did a very good job for her. I would work there again if she would have done that for me. Overall I think the reviews of this school are unfairly low. The kids were great.
