We love Bridger Elementary. Our daughter started going to this school a couple years ago and absolutely loves it. The teachers I’ve met care a lot about all of their students, even the hard ones, and our daughter comes home excited about what she’s learned and what’s going on in the school. From what I’ve heard, Principal Goodman has made lots changes to many aspects of the school that have made it safer, more fun for the kids, and a better workplace for teachers as well. She also has implemented programs to teach responsibility and reward efforts of kids in non-conventional ways that have had great results. We’ve even seen changes at home with how our daughter acts just by being in school. This school has 3 special education teachers and lots of support staff that go above and beyond in a very difficult area of teaching. A lot of activities got put on hold for the pandemic, and the PTA has done a great job of bringing them back and making them fun for the students. They are encouraging Bridger kids to get back into STEM, embrace the very diverse population, and they encourage all parents from all walks of life to join them. We even did! I know not everything is perfect there, and I know everyone is human and we’re all just trying our best, but Bridger Elementary is moving to the top in Logan!

I cannot emphasize this enough, keep your child away from this school. My child has been diagnosed by a pediatrician with ADHD, not as bad as some but enough that he struggles in a classroom. Ever since daycare and preschool he has had behavioral issues ranging from simply disrupting the class to physical outbursts. We knew this wasn’t going away just because he was starting first grade so well before the school year I contacted the district nurse to get him in their radar and make sure he had what he needed to be successful. They suggested a wait and see approach which seemed reasonable to me. As the school year progressed it became clear that he needed extra help in the form of a 504 or an IEP. I brought this up to his teacher one day after school and she looked at me like I had two heads saying “we don’t have anything like that”. First red flag. Time went by with no improvement, in fact things got worse. More incidents and more punishments to where my child described school as “torture” and “prison”. This culminated in an incident severe enough that he had to spend lunch with the principal and we as his parents had to have a talk with Ms. Goodman after school. We again asked her if we can engage an IEP or a 504 for our child and she point blank looked right at us and said “well he does fine academically so there’s nothing we can do”. Needless to say we were crushed because we knew that there is in fact something they can and are legally required to do in this scenario but chose to toss our child aside because they didn’t want to spend their precious funding for whatever reason. As insult to injury, Ms. Goodman in the last 3 weeks of school allowed our child to see the school counselor once a week and wouldn’t you know it, the days he went to see the counselor, zero issues in class. In short, this school does not care about what they are legally required to do to help your child, they will make that determination on their own and toss your kid aside if they don’t think they warrant the use of their funding. Ms Goodman should be ashamed of herself and resign. Keep your kids away from this school at all costs

Wonderful school. The teachers are great, and love their students. School programs are outstanding and original. Students really get the opportunity to develop in their personal classes and performing with the music concerts. Technology has also improved, and the students have access to computers they need. Wonderful aides and staff.

Great student support and great teachers, who work very hard to teach each student. Great ideas and always learning to do their best. Love all the special classes and lap tops for the students to use and learn new technology.

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
