READ THIS FROM A STUDENTS POINT OF VIEW.Coming from a student whos only been in thsi school since 6th grade dont enroll your kids , for the sake of their mental health don't. this schools says their way of education helps students acheive. Lies all it does is bring stress to a student, I see classmates on the first week complaining how they hate, how can you be that bad of a school. Also 7:45! we start at 7:45, and end at 4:00 everyday except wednesday. now dont get me started on homework. You are telling me you're giving me homework everyday for almost every class, if we get lucky sometimes only 2 if we get extra lucky 1 which is rare unless its around the end of our last trimester, and then one day to complete. im sorry to break it to you but not everyone has the time, from what ive gone through I've gone to sleep at 1:00am trying to finish my homework; social studies packet, science back and front math back and front, and then writing a whole paragraph of a book that barely any student is actually interested. If we dont we stay after school until five doing nothing but sitting in a classroom in silence doing your homework. Explain to me how thats supposed to help students you reall think that they're going to actually make sure to there homework every night to not end up in homework habits, from what i see its not because I see the same students almost everyday staying after school. All that thats barely nothing, but when it comes to socializing with diffrent students of diffrent classes you have no choice but to get atleast 4's in 6 classes to earn a brookeband then you can move around to different classes in our first 10 minute break or our second 10 minute break then we have about 35 minutes of lunch. ah yes perfect amount for NINE HOURS of a school day. I dont care what this school throws at you, I promise unless your kid is still not in middle school they'll probably love this if they are they'll hate it.My parents finally decided to move me and my sister to a different schoolnext year, thers absolutely NOTHING I will miss

My daughter has been at the EBCS since last year when she entered at kindergarten. While the school is academically rigorous, my daughter LOVES it. She loves feeling smart and they have instilled in her an eagerness to learn. The school does not always handle communication with parents in the best ways (why I left out a star), but they seem to accept feedback and have made improvements. This type of school/environment is not for everyone. It is tough work and there is a lot of time and effort necessary from the parents behalf, to ensure your child is successful. But the world out there is so competitive and without a quality education, there aren't many good roads for these kids to go down. I feel blessed that my daughter understands the value of hard work and also feels she is somewhere that the adults around her genuinely care about her and want what's best for her. But in our household we are aspiring to inspire our children to be knowledgable and strive for quality in every aspect of their lives, so it works for us. I just wish the days weren't so long, but you can't have it all!

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
