Big gaming

Childersburg is a great school with a faculty that genuinely loves and cares for its students. CHS recently won the National School and Innovation Award in 2016. This is proof they are making great strides in becoming one of Alabama's top school. Childersburg is a place all people should be proud to send their child.

This is my child's senior year Arthur's holland I absolutely love it! He has achieved academically and athletically!

This school has really improved with the new technology they put in. The staff is phenomenal and so is the school.

I had a wonderful high school experience at Childersburg High School. My child, who graduated last year, had a completely different experience. The 9th grade year was as expected but with the change in principals, focus was put on getting the unruly under control and the good kids were to just remain quiet. They were even punished more often because administration was not afraid of their parents. Spirit activities were stopped and in my child's own words, it became a prison. In college many of the top kids are having to take remedial math to catch up and are struggling in English and Biology at the college level. Too late for my child but I do believe we can balance the school experience. Reward those who are good, punish those who don't follow the rules...but it takes more work. This means administration may not get to leave the school before all of the teachers. Looking forward to the new leadership!
