Do not send your child here if they have special needs. The center based program is extremely understaffed. They can’t keep good teachers or find experienced paras. Communication is terrible and district staff does not put the kids first. They will not with with you and only tell you what you want to hear. I’m seriously considering pulling my kid out

We originally chose Heritage for our child based upon their strong scholastics and while Heritage certainly excels in this area, there are many more aspects of this High School that one should research and consider before enrolling their child at Heritage. If your child has any special needs, need counseling advice, has a 504 or IEP, please consider a different school for your child. The teachers at Heritage are great however the administration is not. There is little support at Heritage for both students and parents. They will bully you into doing what is convenient and suits their agenda versus what is best for your child.

We left Jeffco schools this year and decided to place our third kid at Heritage. The older siblings graduated from Jeffco high schools and we decided to try a different district for the third kid. So far, highly impressed with Heritage. The principal is visible and shows up at events. The teachers seem happy and do a good job. The athletics are amazing. There seems to be less drama with Littleton Public Schools compared to the drama with Jeffco. Our kiddo is very happy, is learning, has the appropriate amount of homework, etc.

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
