"I pulled my kid out of this school. They have a SEVERE bullying problem they cannot seem to get a grip on and don't seem particularly interested in fixing it. I even met with the principal on a literal group of kids who had my kid come home with physical injuries and her response was (verbatim - to my FIRST GRADE CHILD directly), ""well boys will be boys and it sounds like [little boy who started it all] likes that girl but she likes you and he's just jealous. Just stay away from him."" Is she serious?? And the teachers have no idea how to deal with children. They intentionally pit them against each other by telling the class they are going to lose whatever behavior incentive was there because of a specific kid so the kids will police each other. This turns into the kids berating and yelling at and isolating their peers in groups, with the teachers permission. The level of lazy negligence is ridiculous. You can tell the teachers and staff are at a point of being sick of their jobs. Their are a couple there who are actually passionate, but not the main ones interacting with the kids. This school is a behavioral and safety nightmare."

a very good school, the best teachers, uh, kind people love children, take care of them and worry about them. my kids didn't speak english but thanks to these teachers they started to speak english, started to love math and do very well ! I am glad that I sent my children to this school when it was very difficult and difficult for them to move to another country. reading bad reviews about this school i don't believe it because it can't be true. I really love our school, our teachers and our teacher!!

I am disappointed with this school for the following reasons 1) my grandchildren are always telling me kids are always fighting in the school and most of the time the parents are breaking up the fights instead of the teachers. The teachers stand there and watch. 2) when the kids are being bullied it takes another child to try and stop it instead of the teacher (3rd graders) 3) I have heard personally one of the teachers talking to his students about something that should not be discussed with the students (either 2nd or 3rd graders) 4) I am always told by my 6th grader how the children disrespect the teachers and are always swearing on the playground and again nothing is being done about this by the teachers. I just believe that the teachers stand by and let this stuff happen.

At this point I was livid and still no-one cared to help locate my daughter!!!!! All they said was maybe she walked home. (There is no school bus transportation for elementary students but there is for junior high and high schools)!!!!! After 27 minutes of this BS I left the school and found my daughter walking the neighborhood looking for her brother who usually picks her up. Again the incompetent staff was aware of this change and did not bother to notify the teachers or my daughter. When I found her she was hysterical and rightfully so. I then had to go the town hall to get direct contact information for the superintendent. The staff there was more concerned than the school. I was giving the superintendent secretary number. After briefly telling her that I was not interested in relaying messages through her and I needed an immediate conception to the superintendent I was transferred to his associate because of course he was unavailable. More BS apologies and he would contact the local school principal. Whether or not any action will be taken against the incompetent staff, I will never know. I even withdrew my son from the junior high school. OUTRAGED PARENT

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
