LC is an absolutely excellent school, with caring teachers, thoughtful leadership, and proactively engaged parents and community. LC is legendary in this area, and Lynden is a great place to move to, in fact, if you're in need of an upgrade in the education experience. The only drawback is that it isn't overly academic, but takes a fairly balanced approach, throwing in a mix of sports, music/drama and other programs, instead of pursuit of major academic perfection. If you're looking for a considerably above average education for your kids, with a heavy dose of sports and lifelong friendships, along with generous community support, this is a throwback school that takes care of the hearts of its kids. Feels like a 50s era place, with modern tools and technology, in the best sense. Traditional, visionary, and focused most on creating a beautiful balance of the school/life experience. They really do consider nurturing the heart and soul an essential part of the successful journey for kids here!

Phenomenal schools. My daughters have attended since kindergarten. Lots of great experiences, including musical performances, drama, art, California science trip, Spain, etc.

"Overall okay. Be sure you fully understand the rules of being a student at LC. There are policies that must be followed or there are consequences regardless of an individual circumstance. Although it pains me to say it, the ""business side"" of LC takes a front seat. One can question whether prayerful consideration comes in to play with certain decisions. Just be sure you are fully informed and can read into the future as much as possible for your child, before you commit to an LC education. We have great publics schools as well."

Hello I am a student here and the teachers are teach to fast even though I ask them to slow down the kids are so rude and cruel and they except good grades and a perfect mood I teacher even told me that my grades sucked right to my face. I am trying to go to lynden public, if you want to go here....DONT !!!
