It’s a wonderful experience at North Forsyth! The teachers and coaches clearly care about the kids and how they learn! I’m excited for my next set of kids(in middle school) to attend

My experience here was a staff who does not care about students and motivating them to be successful attended here years back and would never send my kids . I never was a victim but they allow bullying and allow kids to do as they want . Avoid here at all cost do not set up your kid for failure

My granddaughter is a sophmore at NFHS and to say the school is bad is generous. Students are met with low expectations by instructors. Good instructors tend to leave. Nothing is enforced, no dress code. Security is extremely lacking. They bring drug sniffing drugs in on occasion and make a few arrests. My granddaughter's teacher and guidance counselor told me the curriculum is dumbed down and teachers are told not to give homework,as many students are from single parent households withmany children and the eldest are responsible for sibling care. This is a great injustice to each child in attendence at NF. How are these children going to thrive when they are held back by school administrators?? I can tell you they will not, except for outliers. As a former job corps counselor, I can see the damage prejudgement can do to adolescents ages 16-24. The school is running on low energy and expects the least. With that outlook, that's exactly what they get. The majority of children are being expected to lose. Shameful

The Principal and all of his staff take a genuine interest in the students. If I have any problem, I am able to speak to any of them directly and they follow up very quickly. My children feel respected and cared for by most everyone in the school.

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
