Richland Elementary School Ratings & Reviews

I would give this school one of the lowest grades possible. The administration does next to nothing for the teachers, and that's the reason for an extremely high turnover rate. Some of the best teachers at that school are moving to other schools because there is no stability there. 4 principals in the last 3 years, and the administration constantly throws teachers under the bus.

Kinder - 4th grade this school was definitely a 5 star school overall. This year has been absolutely stressful. Communication on all ends are terrible. And they always want to blame the student. I’m very active and hands on when it comes to my child education. My child has never had behavior problems. His work ethnic in the clsssroom has always been great. From Kinder til now his grades has always been 90% on the A/B side. I purposely stayed in this area just for school but now I don’t mind moving. My child love school. With the problems this year and lack of communication, especially from the administrators, I’m concerned he will lose that excitement for learning.

I believe Richland Elementary is a great place for children to learn and grow! My child is a student of this school and has been since Kindergarten. I can not for the life of me understand why nor how this school could receive such a low rating. To any parents that are considering enrolling your children in this school, please do not let this site be the determining factor in your decision. This school is by far an 8 - 10! The PTA members have grown and the principal just received an award of excellence for this school! No way this school should be a 6! My son has loved each one of his teachers and he is on the shy side. I felt so relieved upon meeting each teacher each year because the excitement that he had for learning continues to grow and I am so appreciative! I gave this school a 4 star only because I do feel like they should give more homework. Please don't skip this school and check it out for yourself.

this school is the worse school, my kids ever attended. especially the the language art teacher she does not care about students future at all. when you ask her why kids doesn't have home work, she will tell you that she knows what she is doing and if you have problem, call the governor and report. I wanted to mention her name also but this time I will just say that she is very unprofessional.

GreatSchools Ratings are based on student performance on state tests, progress over time, and college readiness, in addition to how effectively schools serve students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average). Ratings and reviews help parents compare schools. We encourage parents to also visit schools, ask questions, learn about programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. Data provided by © 2025. All rights reserved.
