Being a part of Austin ISD is priceless in terms of services available and ties to the larger community beyond the school. Winn offers a unique experience within that great framework that melds Montessori and Dual Language, while maintaining an economically diverse community. They strive to honor the kids as individuals, and teach them to value one another for their differences as well. I really love the mixed age classrooms, how the kids can work ahead or more slowly than their peers without stressing over it, and get to have the same teacher for several years.

We love Winn! We have both our kids there now and just couldn’t be happier with the school culture, educational standards, and Montessori classrooms. Truly a place where kids can develop into life long learners.

Wonderful FREE public Montessori program with capable staff and responsive administration. The student body and community are among the most diverse in the city and the school has a strong PTA, Campus Advisory Council and tons of programming and events outside of the school day!

My son is receiving so much support at this small neighborhood school. Also, having a Montessori program in the public sector is so unique ! I love the diversity of the Winn school community, both staff and student body. I highly recommend this wonderful school that has so much heart.
